We have been recently been asked if we sell mattresses as well as bed frames. At present we prefer to specialize in doing what we are good at which is building handmade bespoke bed frames and headboards. We can make specific recommendations for mattresses but we believe the choice of mattress is a very personal thing. Each person likes a different style of mattress, some like it firm, some soft and the choice of mattress can be as unique as the choice of bedroom furniture.For some people the mattress is more important than the bed itself. We prefer to let each person make their own decision regarding the choice of mattress, allowing them to try out different styles, textures and heights.
Sometimes the decision about mattresses can come after the bed has been customized. There are suppliers who can build the mattresses made to measure after the bed is complete so size isn't an issue, however there are some vendors that only make the mattress in specific sizes. This doesn't have to be a problem for us because all of our Luxury Bespoke Bed Frames are made to measure.
